Deactivating the seatbelt reminder with this instruction works for all LX-models (300C, Charger, Challenger, Magnum) and some other models.

To deactivate the this function (the red warning light in the cluster will still be illuminated), there are different procedures:

1. Ignition off
2. Fasten seatbelt
3. Start engine
4. Within 10 seconds open and close the seatbelt 3 times. You end with the seatbelt fastened.
5. Engine off. You should hear a beep confirming the end of the procedure

or

1. Key to ON
2. Key to ACC
3. Fasten seatbelt
4. Key to ON
5. Wait about 6 seconds until the seatbelt warning light goes off
6. Open and close the seatbelt 3 times. You end with the seatbelt fastened.
7. Key to OFF

or

with a Starscan / Starmobile / WiTech under the menue "vehicle preparation"

To re-activate the function, simply repeat the procedure.
